Born on the 1st of September, , Bebe Cool is a Ugandan superstar singer and songwriter. He started his music career sometime around in Nairobi, Kenya, and moved to his country a few years later. He also collaborated with Ugandan veteran female artist, Halima Namakula on their crossover track, Sambagala. Bebe Cool has two solo albums - Maisha and Senta to his credit, and his lyrics are mainly in English, Swahili and Luganda.

He had a music battle with Nigerian artist, D'banj and in December , was under fire for allegedly masterminding the arrest of Nigerian stars, Omah Lay, Tems and their associates during a performance in his country,.
