Gordons whose real name is Godwin Komone is a popular Nigerian comedian who had a very humble beginning. Gordons was born and raised in Warri, Delta State. He is from the Urhobo speaking tribe of Delta state and the first child in a polygamous family. C Envoy. He used to play music comedy on campus when he was in school. His poverty-stricken background did not deter him from forging ahead in life.

And as a teenager of less than 13 years of age, he was already a star and a breadwinner. Before making it in standup comedy, Gordons tried to own his own church but was not successful. This however did not dampen his spirit to succeed. He tried his hands in many things including going solo in music and becoming the resident pastor of Rainbow Christian Assembly, Jakpa branch, also in Warri.

Today, Gordons is considered one of the most talented, most gifted and richest comedians in Nigeria as he charges mouth- watering fees for his shows. He has a comedy show known as Gordons Comedy Clinic which stands out as his engine room of comedy for most of his performances. His stage name Gordons was given to him by his friends when Gordons Spark and Gordons gin first came into the Nigerian market.

Again, music sort him out in his early twenties when his childhood friend, Obus Zelee, formed their group. What originally looked childish and of no positive beginning on the Karien Streets, near Emiberen Street, Okumagba Avenue, later turned young stars everywhere in Nigeria for performance. While being featured on the stage of Made In Warri, he got launched on the big stage of Experience in , where the big story of his life actually began.

Gordons has anchored several events and appeared on stages both within and abroad where he was and still being paid handsomely for his shows.
