As a first-generation Nigerian-American, she strongly values the importance of family, giving back and staying connected to her roots. Osas is a graduate from Pennsylvania State University and holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism and dual minor degrees in Entrepreneurship and Theatre. Osas' interest in the industry started when she was about 12 or 13 years.

Due to the fact that she had very low self- esteem because she was not proud of who she was and where she came from, growing up in Bronx, New Yoirk was tough. Then she was skinny and did not feel beautiful. Her parents then put her in a modelling school with the aim of improving her self-esteem. It was while she was there that she found her love in performing arts.

She had a lucky break when she got a postcard to participate in an America co- pageant and out of girls, she was the third runner-up. That was a starting point for her because From there, she got to participate in other pageants where she won. She however took a break from pageants when she went back to school. After her masters, she decided to participate in Miss Black USA pageant in because she needed to pay for her semester in school.

In August , the actor got engaged to Gbenro Emmanuel Ajibade. The duo walked down the aisle on July 4th, Together, they have one daughter named, Azariah Tiwatope Osarugue Ajibade. The actress revealed during the WakeUpNigeria show on November 14th, that she decided to start up a foundation to honour her sister who died of malaria with a child.
